The person you'll be talking to
Lactation consultant, nutritionist and dietitian. And, most days, the calm voice on the other end of the phone when feeding isn't going to plan.
Hello, I'm Mansi
I've spent more than fifteen years helping mothers feed their babies, first as a nutritionist and dietitian, and then as one of the early nutritionists in India to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Most of that time has been spent in real rooms with real families: maternity wards and NICUs in Mumbai's hospitals, and living rooms at all hours. I've seen how much difference a little patient, practical help can make, and how lonely it feels when you don't have it.
I'm a mother too. So I know what it's like to be handed five different pieces of advice by five well-meaning relatives, and to wonder which one to trust. My approach is simple: understand what's really happening for you and your baby, then find the smallest changes that make the biggest difference.
Above everything, I want to protect the bond between you and your baby. Feeding should bring you closer, not become something you dread.
What I bring to the room
IBCLC certified
The international gold-standard qualification in lactation, awarded by the IBLCE (USA).
15+ years in practice
In maternal and child nutrition, across hospitals, clinics and home visits in Mumbai.
Teacher & speaker
Faculty for IBCLC exam preparation courses and a speaker at national conferences.
Hospital experience
Lactation consultant at leading Mumbai hospitals, working alongside paediatric and nursing teams.
High-risk feeding
NICU and premature babies, C-section recovery, and babies with medical needs.
Nutritionist & dietitian
So we can look at your own eating and your child's first foods, not just the feeding itself.
No rush, no judgement
Whether we meet in person or on a video call, a first session usually goes something like this.
We talk
About your pregnancy, the birth, how feeds have been going, and what's worrying you most.
We watch a feed
I look at positioning, latch and your baby's cues. This tells me more than any checklist.
We try small changes
Often one or two adjustments make an immediate difference, right there in the session.
You leave with a plan
Written down, realistic, and yours. Plus a way to reach me when new questions come up.
