Online consultation

Breastfeeding help, wherever you are

An online lactation consultation with an IBCLC, from your own sofa. No travelling with a newborn, no waiting rooms. Just prop your phone up and we'll work it out together.

Does it really work?

More than most people expect

With the camera on a feed, I can see how your baby is positioned, how they latch, their sucking pattern and their cues. That's most of what I'd look at in person. I talk you through small changes as they happen, and you often feel the difference in the same session.

It's especially useful if you're outside Mumbai, recovering from a C-section, or living away from family and missing that experienced support close by.

  • Latching problems and painful feeds
  • Worries about low milk supply
  • Pumping, storing milk and going back to work
  • Moving from bottle to breast
  • Starting solids and your own nutrition
  • Follow-ups after an in-person visit

How it works

Four simple steps

  1. Book

Send your name and mobile number through the booking form, or WhatsApp me.

  2. We fix a time

Ideally around when your baby usually feeds, so I can watch a feed.

  3. The call

We talk it through, watch a feed, and try changes together.

  4. Your plan

You get clear next steps, and can book a follow-up if you'd like.

What to have ready

  • A phone or laptop with a camera
  • A stand or someone to hold the phone
  • Your baby's birth weight and recent weights
  • A rough note of feeds and nappies
  • Your pump, bottles or shields, if you use them
  • Your questions, written down

Online consultation FAQs

How much does an online lactation consultation cost?

An online consultation is ₹1,000. You can see all fees on the fees page.

Can you help if I live outside Mumbai or outside India?

Yes. Online consultations work from anywhere. We'll just agree on a time that suits your time zone.

What if I need hands-on help?

If I feel you'd benefit from an in-person visit, I'll tell you honestly. In Mumbai, you can see me at my practice in Jogeshwari East or in hospital.

Which app do you use for the video call?

A WhatsApp video call works well for most families, and other apps are fine too. We'll agree on one when we fix the time.
